What can I say? Complete magic, I had never been on a yoga holiday before and am very much a beginner who has never done yoga regularly but I was reassured that all levels were fine and it was correct! The yoga village is peaceful, clean, calm and beautiful with plenty of spaces to relax and rest after class and the outdoor table for dinner and the yoga deck were great. Plus you are near the beach so you can swim and sunbathe and get bikes to cycle around. The cottages were very comfortable and it’s so peaceful at night.

Marja was an excellent teacher with great methodology and very patient and nurturing style, there is always an option to rest or to do a different pose if you cannot manage so for a beginner like me it was great but for more advanced students (there were some yoga teachers there too) they could push themselves more.

The hiking was stunning, challenging but not too much and the views were completely beautiful, the thermal baths were wonderful !and so was the meditation, again something I had never done and had always thought, it’s not for me but I found it hugely profound and touching. In addition to this was the wonderful connection with the other yogis they were all amazing people, we had so much fun and shared a lot of lovely moments but you aren’t pressured to join in you can just relax it’s all good!

So last but not least the food was one of the huge highlights, healthy, fresh, exciting, delicious and visually so beautiful each meal made with a lot of care and attention and there was definitely enough you won’t go hungry! I would recommend any of these courses they are completely brilliant and it was just magical every single minute of it.

What a fantastic week this was! We had such a wonderful group and there was so much love and camaraderie. Marja is also a fantastic yoga teacher and a warm and kind person. The food is delicious, the cottages are spacious, and the beach and sea are just around the corner. I wouldn’t have missed this for the world!

I can only recomend this retreat! Maria is a great and very attentive yoga teacher, with Hatha and yin yoga sessions were always very good. The final meditation class at this magical spot amazing. They plan and organize everything with so much love and effort. The garden is a paradise for relaxing. There is enough time for the beach and other activities in between sessions. The food is very good, the cook is triple cool. We are thankful and hopefully will repeat it next year.

Had a wonderful relaxing 10 days of ‘Summerlife’ at Yoga on Kos. Beautiful surroundings and gardens with shady spots for reading and quiet time or just for some time out of the sun. Marja, Gwen and Wilke, and their lovely staff, have created a beautiful environment for relaxing and recharging your batteries enabling you to do as much or as little as you like. Cycling into Kos Town or to the beach, a taverna or an archaeological site was easy and convenient and cycling with the breeze on your face or your back is the best way to explore. As part of this trip we did stand up paddle boarding, a boat trip to Pserimos, wine tasting and a trip to the hot springs at Thermi. The yoga was varied and suited all levels, the food was delicious and healthy and the company was superb. Thank you so much!

I’ve just returned from the beautiful island of Kos, and I can honestly say it was one of the most wonderful weeks I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, my shoulders dropped, and I felt myself begin to truly unwind. The setting is absolutely stunning. Kos is a gem of an island, with just the right amount of breezes, golden sunsets, and the most welcoming people. Every day was a perfect balance of movement and stillness. I loved the nightly yin yoga sessions from Marja that left me feeling grounded and calm, while the sunset meditations in the morning brought me energy for my day of cycling and swimming on the island. Activity highlights for me that also resulted in deep sleep were the trip to float in the natural thermal springs and the heart-opening cacao ceremony, both deeply restorative and unique experiences, and of course the unforgettable deep tissue massage. Add to that the delicious, fresh local food served every day, and a gorgeous bunch of unpretentious yogis, and it truly felt like food for the body and soul. I left feeling lighter, stronger, and my cup refilled for whatever the Universe has in store. And am very grateful for my week and the huge effort and generosity shown by all the team. Namaste!
