During the week

In the mornings a rich and healthy breakfast will be served. On the evenings that no other activity is planned you will enjoy another yoga session at 18.30, followed by a plant-based Greek style dinner.
Wednesday evening is what we call ‘Kos by Night’. There is no dinner at our place which gives you the opportunity to enjoy the local atmosphere of Kos in the evening.

Day 1:
Enjoy a welcome drink and healthy snack and settle into your room. Start the week with a Yin yoga session to relax after traveling.
Day 2:
Visit the Hippocrates museum, learning about his ideas. Followed by a hike into Tsoukalaria Forest where you will enjoy the most stunning views.
Day 3:
Today we go on a hike through the mountains and you will end your route in Therma, the natural hot springs which the Greeks themselves use to relax. With the sun setting and the stars coming out in the sky, it is wonderful to float in the warm water.
Day 4:
We will take you on a herbal walk. Kos is a natural paradise of rich plant life. Hippocrates used around 250 plants to treat ailments. You will enjoy a herbal tea at the church of Agios Panteleimon. The Yin yoga session this late afternoon will help you to relax after your hikes.
Day 5:
No guided activity is scheduled for today so you could go on a boat trip or enjoy a massage treatment or just do nothing. This evening is what Yoga on Kos calls “Kos by Night”. There will be no dinner served at the hotel which will give you the opportunity to enjoy a dinner out with the group.
Day 6:
A visit to Asklepion is scheduled. According to ancient Greek mythology, Asclepius was the god of medicine and healing. Asklepion was the place where healers were curing their patients and teaching others the art of healing. Hippocrates was taught and practiced medicine in Asklepion on Kos. After the visit, hike up the Zeoula river bed, enjoying an en-route picnic.
Day 7:
Start the morning with a yoga session at the beach. In the afternoon, you will walk all the way up to Mount Dikeos and the beautiful village of Zia from where you will enjoy a stunning sunset. Get back at the hotel for a final dinner with your new friends.
Day 8:
Join us for a sunrise beach walk before breakfast and afterward, it is time to say goodbye.

Next to the activities, you’ll have all the time to do what you like and explore Kos. All activities are optional. You may also take extra resting days if that is what you like to do.
